After a hugely successful year of piloting our online Orchestral Musicianship courses in 2021 we are thrilled to be able to open three online Orchestral Musicianship courses to keen music students who are not currently part of the core program. Join us from anywhere in the world and learn alongside SYO musicians!

The three courses will be led by some of Sydney’s most experienced music educators and will run online (SYOnline) for one hour each week for thirty two weeks.

 

Ideal for all keen high school music students who would like to learn more about; musical notation, chords and harmony, history of orchestral music, score reading and analysis, melodic and rhythmic dictation and sight-singing.

The perfect preparation or extension for those intending to or who are studying Music 2/Music Extension as Music 1600-1900 is the Mandatory Topic for Year 11 Music 2 in the NSW HSC.

The perfect preparation or extension for those intending to or who are studying Music 2/Music Extension as Music 1900-2000 is essential knowledge for NSW HSC Music 2.
