The Big Busk 2022

The Big Busk – Australia’s only public celebration of youth and orchestral music.

The success of the event over the last 3 years has secured its position as a  highlight in Sydney’s spring calendar.  In 2019, nearly 600 musicians and alumni from SYO brought Sydney to life with 10-hours of consecutive live performances.

From soloists to quartets, wind ensembles to a full 70-piece philharmonic, The Big Busk connects Sydney siders through the emotion of music – everything from Beethoven to Billie Eilish.

All money raised supports SYO’s critical business infrastructure, expand our music library, and help us to acquire new and used orchestral instruments.
