The Sydney Youth Orchestra 2022 Concert Series
The Sydney Youth Orchestra is the principal orchestra within the pathway at Sydney Youth Orchestras (SYO). SYO provides an environment for young musicians to connect, create and champion orchestral music, with many SYO alumni featuring within all the professional orchestras across Australia and even around the world.
The Sydney Youth Orchestra is led by Guest Conductors, who work with these young musicians on four concert programmes throughout the year, such as Max McBride, Brett Waymark OAM and Stanley Dodds (Berlin Symphony Orchestra). These conductors challenge and extend our young musicians and prepare for them for their next steps as professional musicians.
The Sydney Youth Orchestra is powered by SYO; established in 1973, and has almost 50 years of experience in the educating the musicians of the future.
